Code of Conduct
Behaviour Expected from Students

Students are expected to familiarize themselves with all academic rules as notified from time to time.

Student must attend at least 85% of the total classes held in each subject/paper during the academic session.

Students must wear the approved college uniform on all working days.

Students must wear their college ID cards in a visible manner at any time inside the campus.

Permission of entry is not allowed after sharp 9 a.m.

Half leave during class hours is not granted under normal circumstances.

Students must look up at the notice board regularly.

Students must observe silence and maintain decorum whether inside or outside the College premises.

Students are advised and expected to use college property with utmost care and should not fiddle with electric and other fittings and must help to keep college premises tidy.

Students should give up habitual negligence in studies and submit home assignment regularly and there should be grace and sense of purpose in their work.

Mobile Phone is strictly prohibited within the college campus.

If a student remains absent for seven consecutive days without any information, the parents will be informed or informing the guardian a Transfer Certificate will be issued.

Students shall leave their bicycles, scooters or motorcycles locked in the parking place provided for this purpose. No bicycle, scooter or motorcycle shall be parked in any other place of the college campus.

No society can be formed in the college nor shall any person be invited to address a meeting in the college without the permission of the principal.

Notice designed to be pasted or circulated by the students anywhere in the college premises shall require the approval of the Principal. Communal harmony must be maintained.

Smoking, chewing tobacco and spitting betel nut inside the college campus is strictly prohibited.

Any violation of code of conduct will be seriously viewed and will be punished.
Note: Outside the college campus students must behave in a manner befitting to a student of Senior Secondary, thereby upholding the dignity and pride of M.A. Jr. College. To have a serene, disciplined and model campus, the students are requested to extend their wholehearted co-operation in implementing the above cited code of conduct successfully.
